The story of the Sălcioara orchard
It all began in 2018, out of a simple concern: the family wanted to put safe, healthy food on the table. After doing their research and asking the experts for advice, they chose the almond tree, for its nutritional value and because it’s a tree that stands the test of time.
They wrote a project for EU funding, won it and planted the orchard in Sălcioara. Today the whole family works the 8.4 hectares of almond trees, from tending the trees to the harvest.
