Ferma Lipovenesc Jurilovca is a place where time runs differently: a Lipovan farmyard in the heart of the village, with friendly animals, food cooked the way grandma used to and a gate that’s always open.
The farmyard has been here since 2018 and has gathered a big family of animals since then. The alpacas Piciu, Nino and Mexi, the playful goats and Bamby the pony are the soul of the place.

A Lipovan lunch in the courtyard
At the Lipovenesc local gastronomic point (PGL, a home-run local eatery) they cook old recipes with local ingredients from Jurilovca: fisherman’s borscht, fresh crucian carp, traditional starters and pies made by the village women. The table is laid out in the courtyard, in the open air.

Concerts and cultural evenings
The courtyard hosts live concerts and open-air cultural evenings, as well as private events: birthday parties, team-building days and family meals. You’ll find the programme on the Lipovenesc events page.
For children and schools
School classes come to the farm for Săptămâna Verde (the Green Week school programme) and Școala Altfel (the Romanian “different school” week). The children care for the animals, milk the goat, make mud bricks and try fretwork, painting and flatbreads on the hotplate.
